How to Select the Right Size Hair Tie: A Comprehensive Guide
Before placing your order, it's essential to measure your ponytail and refer to the size chart to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Here's how to do it:
- Tie your hair into a low ponytail.
- Use a tape measure or a cord to snugly measure the base of your ponytail, over the elastic band.
- Remember to use an elastic band that is similar in size to what you normally wear. This measurement will give you the size of the first hair tie you'll need.
- Additional hair ties may be the same size or smaller, depending on your hair length and thickness.
Size Chart: - 4.0 to 4.5 inches: Extra Large - 3.5 to 3.9 inches: Large - 3.0 to 3.4 inches: Medium - 2.5 to 2.9 inches: Small
It's important to note that leather stretches, hair compresses, and elastic bands come in different thicknesses. If your measurement is between two sizes, choose the larger size (for example, 4.0-inch hair should select Extra Large instead of Large).
First-time customers are encouraged to try a single hair tie for size before ordering a custom set. The hair tie's inner diameter will be slightly smaller than the measurement to keep the hair tie snug and secure. The size is measured laying flat, between the centers of the two outside snaps.
